Tax Planning Lawyer

Estate planning and elder care matters often have significant tax aspects, particularly when assets are complex. I advise clients in estate tax matters, including personal and business taxes, minimization of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes, income taxation of trusts and estates, and business succession matters.

Listening Carefully to Client Needs

We tend to think of the practice of tax law as a dry exercise, but these and other issues regarding estates and trusts, hinge on intensely personal decisions. The planning for the disposition of one's assets after death or the transition of a family-owned business to the next generation require much forethought and planning on the part of both the lawyer and the client. I work closely with my clients to understand their desires regarding their estate decisions, and work to put into effect the appropriate tax transactions and vehicles which will accomplish the client's objectives.

When client needs require it, I work with Jay Katz, my colleague at Widener University College of Law, on very complex matters involving estate taxation of large estates, personal and business income tax, and income taxation of trusts and estates.

To schedule a consultation, call 610-565-4191, or contact me online. I schedule evening and weekend consultations by appointment, at your location if necessary.

My office is conveniently located in downtown Media, with free off street parking.
